 First Wedding Dance
Occasional Dance offers exclusive wedding first dance choreography to couples, enabling you to step out in confidence on your special day.
We cover every style of dance you can imagine, so it doesn't have to be a traditional dance, you can choose what ever you want and we will create that dance for you. Giving you steps and confidence, so you don't have to feel embarrassed at all dancing on your big day.
Occasional Dance offers one to one dance lesson tuition with a professional choreographer/dancer, all of which are professionally trained dancers/teachers with a wealth of experience and patience. The choreographer will individually choreograph and teach you a routine with any personal ideas you would like included, taking into account any wedding dress restrictions ensuring every couple has their very own unique first dance. Giving you the confidence you need to dance without fear.

REHEARSALS
All of the above can be created and rehearsed in the comfort of your own home, with flexible lesson times to suit your work or social commitments, or if you prefer a hired venue.
WHEN TO START?
We advise that dance lessons begin around 6- 8 weeks prior to the big day, the later you leave it the less time you have in learning the routine. This time space lets you get to know the music and allows you plenty of your own private practice time.
HOW MANY LESSONS WILL WE NEED?
The amount of lessons you need depends on song tempo and length. We can adjust your routine to how much time you are able to put in. We suggest 5 hours, this is broken up over a few weeks, this is a comfortable amount of time to learn and practice. If you are on limited time and budget this isn't a problem we can arrange your routine to suit the time and budget you have available. There's always an option and alternative!
OTHER OPTIONS A special dance doesn't just have to be for the Bride and Groom, we offer dances for Bridesmaids, Groomsmen, Father and Daughter. Have you thought about a group dance for all of your wedding party? Group dances are so much fun, you learn as a group to your chosen song and it's a brilliant memory of your day for everyone.
