Sarah Sparrow
Cover Dance Teacher
Theatre School & Adults


Sarah, has danced from the age of 6 and began teaching at the age of 13. She has completed a number of street dance, Latin American and ballroom exams and competed in a number of competitions around the UK.

She trained at Masters Performing Arts College where she was involved in performances at 'Move It' Olympia and 2 west end 'Glass Slipper Balls' and graduating in 2009.


Sarah has in a range of hair shows, including Babyliss and charitable events
for Breast Cancer Care. Sarah has appeared on television dancing in a 'Fame' documentary and at the Hannah Montana movie premiere.

She has always been passionate about what she does and really enjoys working along side such talented children and teachers.


Phil Hawkins
Vocal Coach - Theatre School



Phil trained at Masters Performing Arts College.
After training Phil worked in every spectrum of entertainment; Cruising, Uk Tours, West End (play: look back in anger), Summer Seasons, TV (the bill), modeling, recording.

Phil is a professional musician Guitar/Bass/drums and a Published Songwriter.

Phil has owned his own performing arts centre, which went onto become the largest privately owned centre of excellence in East Anglia. Phil has operated his own production company VPA Productions Vocal Arrangement and show creation.

Phil is also a confidence and public speaking coach

Phil is available for Vocal coaching/Guitar lessons/confidence coaching

Phil is proud to be associated with Occasional Dance and knows that with Tina at the helm Occasional Dance will go onto do its utmost to reach out to all the untapped talent in the local communities and help young performers to realise just how good they never realised they could be.

Lauren Bigby
Drama Coach - Theatre School



Lauren trained as an actress at the Guild Hall School of Music and Drama in London. She has worked in TV, Film and Theatre.

Films Include ‘The Note Books of Cornelius Crow’ which was screened at The Cannes film Festival, ‘Neil’s Party’ which was released both in the UK and USA and ‘Asylum Night’ which had a successful run on the Horror Channel on Sky.


TV includes ‘Dr Tatiana’s Advice to all Creation’ which was  the Daily’s Mail Choice featured programme. Theatre includes ‘Twelfth Night’, ‘The Accidental Death of an Anarchist’ and ‘The Importance of being Earnest’.


Lauren also has her own production company InterACT which has produced ‘Essex Girl’s’ by Rebecca Prichard and ‘Bacon Sandwich’ which was an award winning new writing piece by Tim Massey.


Lauren has now moving into casting projects for film and Television which she has a real passion along with teaching.


Lauren has been teaching for 8 years in several Theatre Schools in Essex and is delighted to become part of Occasional Dance Theatre School

Neil Clench
Workshop Leader/
Guest Teacher - Theatre School



Neil spent seven years with The National Youth Music Theatre, before going on to train at Guildford School of Acting, where he received The Principal's Award.

Neil starred in Guys and Dolls (UK Tour) for the Donmar Warehouse, where he played Nicely Nicely Johnson.

 

Theatre includes

Mad Hatter in 'Alice in Wonderland', Sarah the Cook in "Dick Whittington' (both for PMA), 'Salad Days' (UK Tour),

'Beauty & the Beast' (Full House Theatre Company, UK Tour), 'As You Like It' (Arundel Castlel. ‘Taming of the Shrew' (Groveland's House), 'Annie & Cinderella' (both at Perth Rep),

'Jack & the Beanstalk' (Theatre Royal Northampton), 'Grab Me A Gondola' (Theatre Museum), 'Don Giovanni' (Loseley Manor) &  'Sondheim Tonight' (Barbican).

The National Youth Music Theatre – Rooster in Annie, lockit in The Beggars Opera & the original Mr Haricastle in Howard Goodall and Charles Hart's 'The Kissing Dance'.

Neil was fortunate to travel the world on board the P&O Ship Oriana where he performed in musicals 'Grease', 'Elvis' & 'Jolson'.

 

Television credits include –

Doctor Who, alongside Catherine Tate, Blue Peter (BBC).

Neil has filmed various Commercials & idents over the years. Most recently Ladbrookes “Got the Feeling” World cup 2010. As well as being one of the Kwik-Fit men in the "You'll be amazed at what we do" Campaign.

 

Neil teaches at various drama schools including Sylvia Young Theatre School and runs his own workshop business SCENARIO.  Neil is delighted to be running “Hairspray” the musical workshop on behalf of Occasional Dance Theatre School and is looking forward to working with the children.

 
Tracey Iliffe
Wedding Choreographer/Teacher
 
 
Tracey's experience as a choreographer has covered a vast range of styles.
Tracey has choreographed;
  • Trade shows for Mary Kay Cosmetics & Kerastase.
  • Presentations for Marks and Spencer and L'Oreal.
  • Pantomimes including Aladdin, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty.
  • Production Shows for Grand Casino - San Remo Italy.
  • Cabaret Show for "La Nouvelle Eve" Berlin, Germany.
  • Various production shows for Thomson Cruises on behalf of   Peel Productions. 
  • Celebrity Eclipse inaugural season show on behalf of Poet Productions and Patrice Marques, Florida.
 
Not only is Tracey a very experienced choreographer, 
she has performing experience of 15 years including television and musical theatre around the world.
During this time she spent 6 years living in Pairs performing at the Moulin Rouge and Lido de Paris.
 
 
Susan Conway 
Wedding Choreographer/Teacher


                                             

Susan trained as a dancer at the London Studio Centre, graduating in 2001 with a B.A. Honours Degree in Theatre Dance.  Her degree included studies in anatomy, physiology and body conditioning.

Susan has worked as a dancer in theatre, television and in numerous music videos.

Susan is also a qualified yoga teacher training with the Sivananda School of Yoga in Auburn, California.  Her main style of teaching is Hatha yoga, but also incorporates different styles such as Vinyasa Flow.

Susan is a very creative choreographer and teacher bringing inspiration to all.
