OD Theatre School – FAQs
What should students wear?
Please wear our Occasional Dance T Shirt or Hoodie along with;
Leggings, jogging bottoms, shorts and sensible footwear. Please NO jeans, skirts, flip flops or sandals.
If you do not have a uniform something comfortable you can move in.
Where Can I Purchase Uniform?
Uniform can be ordered and purchased at Theatre School.
Will there be extra show rehearsals?
Around show times there will be extra rehearsals, normally at a weekend. Rehearsal times and costs will be kept to a minimum.
Do all students take part in shows?
Yes all students take part in shows, unless they decide it’s not for them and just enjoy classes without the performance side. Those students can then experience and learn backstage skills during show time.
Are there Exams?
We offer Lamda Drama Examinations, but these are optional and run as an extra class alongside Theatre School.
When and Where is Theatre School?
Theatre School term time only on Thursdays 4.30-6.45pm at Emerson Park Academy. Optional holiday workshops are offered during school holidays.
How much does it cost?
Fees are £13.50 per session and are paid weekly for the first month. Thereafter fees are paid on the first Thursday of each month for the weeks of that month.
